The Nerd finishes his Halloween two-parter with a review of all games about Frankenstein's monster...or Frankenstein himself/itself since some of them don't really seem to know what the fudge is going on....
It’s been a long time since I posted any Nerd videos so I’ve got a bit of a kitty to post today. First up is the follow up to the last post, which was about Superman on the NES. The Nerd gave the fans what they wanted and has here a video of quite possibly the worst game ever made in the history of video games….
Superman 64:
After that the Nerd began a build up to the release of The Dark Knight with a two-parter review of several Batman games on numerous systems. I think these two videos are some of his best yet, well worth a watch. How will the Batnerd escape this one?????
Part 1:
Part 2:
I have to tell the blog I’m Batman before I publish it…
Ok there has NEVER been a good Superman game....ever! Not one on any console ever even merits being called a good game, and it's no surprise that the Nerd finally rips apart one of the worst gaming series in history. Oh God...Superman 64 is next.....
A video that has been in the works for some time, the Nerd takes an official look at the world phenomenon that is Star Trek. Can you guess what he thinks of the games? I can, and I only need to make one!
Whatever about the quality of the games and such, the special effects in the video are rather good! And I must say I'm rather impressed at how well the Nerd pulls off some Star Trek jargon.
Ok, first things first, this is a LONG video. Now that that's done, how can the Nerd find something wrong with SMB3??? Only like one of the greatest games ever made!!!
Yeah that's a mouthful alright. This is apparently an unreleased video from....2006!!! I warn you, it's LONG, so you know, grab a beer, sit back and enjoy.
Oh, and another GMG is on the way during the week!
Afternoon all, the Nerd returns from a short break with a video as requested by all his fans of 'Dragon's Lair' on the NES, possibly the worst game ever made for the system. Seriously...that's not cause the Nerd is reviewing it!
Anyway, I also completed Call of Duty 4 and the review is on the way as well as some comments about Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga on PS3.
Enjoy:
Oh...and England were knocked out!!! Not that I can talk since Ireland were crap, but it's moments like last night that just make the week!
The follow up to the awful Texas Chainsaw Massacre view. Can the Nerd restore our faith in him with this next video???
Well in brief the game sucks, though some of the post review stuff is good like the arguing with the two kids at his door: "What's an Atari?". Though I'm slightly worried that he said "Fuck" infront of those children....
The Nerd returns with a look at a game that will make you want to gut yourself with a chainsaw. Its opening is a little different from previous vids (as is the rest of it), you'll have to watch it to see what I mean....
Enjoy...
Texas Chainsaw Massacre:
His cause of death.....High Speed on Burnt Ice!!!!
The Nerd mentioned in the his previous video "Nintendo Power" that this would be the next review. Fester from the Addams Family got his own game, and as you can guess, it's a piece of shit.
I don't know why but this is actually one of my favourites. It's hard to explain, but there just seems to be a genuine frustration coming out of James in this one.
I particularly like the opening joke! So you will actually get it, I'll direct you to James' video review of Ninja Turtles 3 here:
It will explain it all for you. I really suggest you watch this first (it is part 2 of the whole review, but the actual reference to THIS joke is in part 2!)
So...
Fester's Quest:
Were you expecting ehhhh NINJA TURTLES?!?!?!....Funny
The Nerd goes a little mellow in this one, but he assures us that it's only temporary!
Before I post the video, I also have the next "Greatest of All Time" blog in the works and am thinking about a "Things Guys and Girls must do on the Internet" kindof blog thingy, so we'll see how that works out.
I think an Addams Family game is next! By the way, watch The Munsters, not too shabby!
The Resistance: Fall of Man blog is finally underway, and I expect to have Part 1 of the review posted within the next few days. I'm just looking for good screenshots at the moment.
Likewise, the Games Workshop blog is also underway, just trying to get pictures of unpainted miniatures.
And now to the Nerd... this video goes back to Atari, though it's quite different from his previous videos. Not for the faint of heart...and I mean it...
As you can see, there is very little activity on my blog at the moment. This is 100% due to the fact that I'm currently incarcarated in hell (well Wicklow, but if you've spent as long as I have there).
Some brief news before I post the latest Nerd Video:
The 'Resistance: Fall of Man' blog is on hold as I have yet to complete the game due to my situation just outside The Pale.
I have in the works another Games Workshop blog, this time however on a positive note.
I am also now making myself available to cook fancy meals for people so if you have my number, as most of my blog readers do, we can have a chat about it.
Anyway.....
This is the Blowout (really blowout your ass!)
